R&D personnel account for 90% of our total staff, with over 70% of them with a master's degree or above

Our core R&D team members have past work experience in major companies in the wireless communication sector, and technical and manufacturing experience in system architecture, signal processing, protocol stack, as well as digital, analog and RF circuit design. They have also led the launch of products that have set industry benchmarks.

2G/3G/4G/5G full-standard cellular baseband chip and multi-protocol non-cellular IoT chip design;

Core design technologies including very large-scale digital-analog hybrid IC, RF chip, innovative baseband RF integration technology and ultra-low power SoC design.

ASR has developed most of the analog and digital IPs required for SoC, including multi-mode protocol stack IP from 2G to 5G, ISP, display, LPDDR2/3/4x, USB 2.0 and 3.0 Phy, and PCIe Phy, which can be used in various types of chips. These self-created IPs allow ASR to cut its reliance on third-party IP providers, boost R&D efficiency, solve R&D challenges, and accelerate product iteration.

ASR's product lines not only encompass various cellular and non-cellular network standards, but also power consumption, transmission rate, security and reliability in various formats to meet the different needs of technology companies.

The customers of ASR include large power grid enterprises and well-known brands such as ZTE, Midea, Hitachi, 360, TP-Link, as well as the major module manufacturers in the industry, such as Quectel, Sunsea Group, Neoway, Gosuncn and U-blox AG. At the meanwhile, ASR has been ed by many leading companies in different applications to provide chip design services or IP licensing.

The onsite engineer teams and technology development teams of ASR are mainly based in China to efficiently communicate with domestic customers in all aspects. They make great efforts to fulfill the demands of end customers for product development and accelerate their mass production.

The company has acquired Alphean, Jiangsu SmartIC, Marvell's communication department, and WYSEngine, and integrated these businesses’ personnel and technologies. We will continue to invest in R&D, recruit top talents and develop core technologies to build a complete 2G-5G communication technology system and enhance AI technology.
